4th Anniversary Special Edition

Dear Campaign Supporters and Partners:

This month, the Campaign celebrates four years of working collaboratively to end homelessness in Downtown San Diego. Since 2010, the Campaign and its partners housed over 1,150 formerly homeless individuals.

In this month’s 4th Anniversary Special Edition newsletter, we reflect on the Campaign’s accomplishments and talk to Leadership Team members about what ending homelessness means to them.

We are pleased to announce that the office of San Diego City Council President Todd Gloria officially declared July 17th as the Campaign to End Homelessness in Downtown San Diego Day!

Be sure to mark your calendar for next year as we move closer to ending homelessness in Downtown San Diego. The Campaign’s 5th anniversary date is in line with the national goal to end chronic and veteran homelessness by 2015.   The Campaign has shown that San Diego can reach this goal by using a Collective Impact model, sustaining partnerships across multiple sectors and building on the national momentum.
