Connections Housing Impact Report

Since its opening in March of 2013, Connections Housing and its partners have played a key role in serving the homeless and reducing homelessness in downtown San Diego.

According to a Community Impact Report prepared by People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), Connections Housing and its partners have reduced homelessness by 70% in the immediate ¼ mile area of this innovative project site. Additionally, the Connections Housing partners have achieved a 98% retention rate for those living in its permanent supportive housing units.

Connections has also assisted 60% of individuals leaving the PATH and Alpha interim beds in finding permanent or longer-term housing and 109 Veterans in obtaining employment.

Connections Housing is the product of collaborative efforts between several organizations that seek to address homelessness in San Diego.
