2013 is in full gear, and February was a month of action and activity around efforts to end homelessness. There was the introduction of new legislation at the state level in support of affordable and supportive housing, and the groundbreaking of Celadon at 9th & Broadway downtown, which will provide 88 supportive housing units. In addition, there have been many local events this month to raise awareness in the community on issues of homelessness, including the Voice of San Diego’s “Quest” Panel Discussion and the Downtown San Diego Partnership’s “Feed the Meter” press conference and call to action – and we are excited by the momentum in our community! Read about these efforts and more below and the February edition of the Campaign to End Homelessness in Downtown San Diego Newsletter.
Thank you for your continued support!
