Campaign Progress Report: January 2013

A formerly homeless client on his way to housing during Blitz Week

Since Blitz Week, Campaign partners have been working diligently to enroll and provide housing and services to homeless persons from the streets of downtown.  As of December 31, the Campaign can report:

  • A total of 94 formerly homeless individuals have been housed through our “Phase 2” efforts (also known as Blitz Week)
  • 148 people are off the streets through our “Phase 1” efforts (also known as Registry Week)
  • A total of 242 formerly homeless individuals are now off the streets due to the Campaign’s efforts

Furthermore, in the past few weeks, 46 of the clients placed in short-term housing during Blitz Week are now leased up with their federal housing vouchers and stabilized in permanent housing.
